Caitlin winner of Bells Farm 500

Caitlin winner of Bells Farm 500

It was with great pleasure that Mr Connolly and Mrs Wilkinson – two of our school governors – presented the prizes for the second annual Bells Farm 500 story writing competition. The winner, and holder of the Bells Farm 500 trophy, was Caitlin Hayes from Year 6 Eagles with her moving short story – “Remember, Remember…” It will bring a tear to your eye as it did the judges! The runners up were Daniel (Year 5), Katie (Year 6) – (both producing quite creepy stories!) and Elizabeth (Year 3) who only joined the school this year. Elizabeth is Spanish and has only just started learning English this year – we all agree that she has demonstrated her terrific progress by producing this lovely story. Enjoy reading our winning entries!
