OAP’s and Year 6 grandparents attend Christmas lunch
On 10th December 2015, the School Council attended their first official engagement of the year. The council met and had Christmas lunch with a number of local Druids heath OAPS’s and the grandparents of some of our Year 6 children. The council were very excited but nervous about meeting visitors to the school but this didn’t show at all! Kaydon said “I have butterflies in my stomach but it was so nice to meet the visitors.”
The council made our visitors very welcome to the school. It was a pleasure to have the OAP’s and grandparents visiting Bells Farm Primary school.
An extended thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers who came to help at lunchtime and ensure lunch ran smoothly. And of course our wonderful kitchen staff who served and cooked Christmas dinner to the staff and children at the school.
