At Bells Farm Primary we are looking for new and exciting ways to encourage our children to read. Over the summer holidays we would like as many children as possible to take part in a whole school competition.

Between 16th July and 13th September there will be 170 benches shaped as books, individually designed by nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools and colleges located around Birmingham. The venues include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Library of Birmingham, Grand Central, Millennium Point, The Think Tank and Waterstones.

The free Big Read trail officially opened at the Library of Birmingham, Centenary Square over the weekend.
